Jordana Nail Polish Swatches

18 Sep

Today I have a complete butt-tonne of swatches for you! I’ve noticed in the blog search field that we get a lot of hits from people looking for Jordana polish swatches. I had quite a few up on Flickr, but hadn’t shared them directly in a post. Also I’d gotten more since I uploaded those ones! So this post is mega swatch-spam.

I really like Jordana polishes, they go on easily at 2-3 thin coats, have a quite-good dry time for how cheap they are, and best of all they work amazingly for water marbling! Plus here in NZ they are generally sold at $3 a bottle, which is epic. I’ve decided to start with the older photos that were uploaded on Flickr, then I’ll move on to the newer swatches.

Plus it’s funny to see how much more precise I’ve become with the painting, these next swatches I didn’t bother to clean up but they’re much neater than the old ones >_< ONWARDS!

Until next time~

Nice work! I like silver jewel, for some reason that’s calling to me. Where do you get them from? I’ve only ever found them in Otaki, and they’re $5, so I only have 2 😀

I usually find the best selection in “2 Cheap” stores around Auckland. If I come across a bottle of Silver Jewel I’ll pick it up for you 😀

ooh thank you! Or any top coat like that with those big shapes, looks so awesome! I’ll pay ya! 😀 And keep an eye out for 2 Cheap stores next big smoke I go visit 😀

Haha you wouldn’t have to pay me 😛 I still owe you for the microbeads you picked up for me 😀

I’m so happy you posted these! I bookmarked the page, so I can go to it straight away! I love Jordana nail polish – it’s by far the best cheap brand I’ve ever found. They don’t have all of these in my town – and man, I love silver jewel!

Yay I’m glad you found them useful! I adore Jordana polish too, definitely my favourite cheap brand 😀 I have heaps of their lipsticks as well hehe. I usually buy Jordana in stores, but every now and then I buy one from Cherry Culture. They have a huuuuge selection, and there are heaps on there that I’ve never seen in stores 😀

Hmmm I’ve have to check out their lipsticks too then, I barely have any! Maybe one or two? Oh awesome, thanks! You know some awesome nail polish sites – any more? Free shipping is always good – like Born Pretty Store!

I actually made my first ever Born Pretty Store order last week, I’m waiting excitedly for its arrival 😀
My favourite online stores are Cherry Culture, Beauty Joint, and my absolute favourite (because my absolute favourite polish brand is China Glaze) is Head2Toe Beauty. None of them have free shipping, but they’re fairly decent and still work out a lot cheaper than purchasing in NZ or from NZ websites. I also like Meliney.com for Konad supplies, and Bundle Monster for other stamping plates :3

Awesome, thanks heaps! Saving them all to my favourites 🙂

I love Jordana nail polish! Not only are they super affordable ($1.99 USD), but they have the best colors. True, some go on streaky when applying the first coat, but after the second or third coat they look just as good as some of the more expensive brands out on the market right now. I have an ever growing collection of colors and one in particular (sapphire), I’ve bought twice. I do recommend using a good base and top coat with these as it’ll extend the life of your manicure and bring out the shine of the polish that much more. Have fun! 🙂

Thanks for letting us know that Jordana works great for water marbling. I’ve always wanted to try that particular technique and I have 17 colors and counting — more than any other brand I own. I’m absolutely addicted to this brand. Love the variety of colors, smooth application, and extreme affordability.

Have you had any problems with any of the Jordana nail polishes leaving your nails really stained? Or have they been alright in general.

    • Delindel March 2, 2013 at 8:34 pm #

The only staining one I’ve noticed was Boy Oh Boy, in general they are just fine and don’t stain 🙂

Jordana is so fantastic and fun. I love Jordana nail polish. It looks professional and colourful and once nicely done, can last 5 days with minor touch ups. I’ve made it a kind of girl’s outing to go in the malls and drug stores of my small city searching for Jordana. My stash is growing and I never regretted buying any one of them. The colours here look fantastic and merry, but for the glitters use up to three coats, or Jordana basecoat and see how excellent they look! Jordana is just sublime

[…] Muahahahahhaa!! Pinks and oranges don’t often get utilised by moi, I gravitate towards blues, greens and browns/nudes. So I thought I’d do something different and bright. I used a white base (it makes the colours pop more), then Jordana Soft Pink, Pink Lemonade, Tangy, and Sweet Orange for the marbling. You can see swatches of all my Jordana polishes here. […]
