Good morning lovely readers.
I am on annual leave at the moment and have been enjoying the sleep ins and lazing about the house. However I have also been busy swatching and reviewing some of my recent purchase items. I was going to put them all in the same post but that post would end up being very long and I would be worried I would neglect one of my new products. So what I am going to do is review each product one by one. You will notice that they all follow an order, which is the order I put them on in.
So my first review is for Garnier’s Anti-Dark Circles Roll on.
Good Afternoon Everyone!
The last few weeks I have been trialling a new face and eye cream. The two products I picked up are from Aveeno’s new Smart Essentials range. I first brought the Anti-Fatigue Eye Treatment for $25.00 NZD from Farmers, I was so impressed I went back and brought the Daily Nourishing Moisturizer with SPF 30.
Aveeno is a brand I have used before. I started using their Ultra-Calming range, I fell in love with their night cream but sadly they stopped making it about two years ago.
So read below for a review of my two latest face and eye creams from Aveeno.
If you’ve been reading for a while you may have noticed my love for Australis. All of my basic make up is Australis and I would recommend them to anyone.
Products I use are:
When I went to purchase a replacement Powder Cream Foundation (seriously you need to go get some this instant!) they had a offer at Farmer’s either you got 10% off or if you managed to spend over $25.00 you received a free eyebrow kit. I was curious about the kit and opted for that.
So I’ve been using various Za face moisturisers for around 2 years now, and the new one I’ve started using is so great I decided to share it on here with you 🙂 Because it’s not nail polish 🙂
Anyway, I use this cream every morning and it leaves me feel fresh-faced, young, soft, and fantastic. The best part is that you only need a tiny bit to do the whole face ^_^ I purchased this at Farmers, which seems to be the go-to place for any Za products.
Every time my Mama and I visit St Lukes mall we visit the lovely L’Occitane store that they have their. We tend to just dribble over the beautiful products and maybe try a few things out. I get my love of Rose and Lavender scented things from my Mama, so it’s usually these scents we try.
L’Occitane has one of the best and natural smelling rose ranges I have found so far. According to the beautiful boxes the L’Occitane Rose 4 Reines range is a combination of four different roses; the Grasse rose, the Bulgarian rose, the Moroccan rose and the Turkish rose.
I was lucky enough for Christmas this year to receive the “Rose 4 Reines Rose Pearlescent Cream 200ml” from my Mum and Dad. This weekend me and Mama went on another trip to St Lukes. L’Occitane has a 20% off sale and there I picked up their “Rose 4 Reines Eau de Toilette 20ml“, which is a smaller bottle of their usual 75ml.
I don’t know how many times I drooled over this palette, but CHI CHI seems to be a hard product to get in New Zealand which means the stands are not always fully stocked. Delindel was a star when she swooped in and brought me this palette. Even though I knew what was in my little Christmas parcel I was a good girl and waited till Christmas day to open it.
I was so happy with my present I wanted to share my review and swatches with you.
If you live in New Zealand you can purchase CHI CHI from Farmers stores and the whole range is reasonably priced. Unfortunately I can not find a website for you to look at, the only one I can find is “coming soon”. CHI CHI is an Australian brand, so I am sure it is in more abundance over there.
Since I have newly rediscovered my love for Australis with their Powder Cream Foundation and Eye-shadow Primer I have been looking into buying some more of their makeup products. Since my recent purchases of concealer, foundation and mascara did not live up to expectations I was in need of a few essential items. So I may have splurged…a bit…well a lot. I brought their Fresh and Flawless Pressed Powder, Paparazzi Perfect HD Foundation, Paparazzi Perfect HD Brightner, Show Stopper Gloss Stick and Killer Curves Mascara. 😮 This post is a result of two seperate shopping hauls and in the process of proof reading I may have gone and brought more Australis products but I will review those later for you.
