How has your week been? Mine has been full again, but at least that means the week has gone by quickly.
I know I said my next post would be a L’Oreal make up review, but I brought new shoes that need sharing and then I remember I had more shoes that you hadn’t seen. I may have brought a “few” more pairs since I did my post about my shoes. So here is the rest:
How have you all been?
As always life is full at the moment with work, study, nail polish and Doctor Who. I have almost finished my study just a few more assihnments and I get my qualification and at work it is comic book month which includes a dress up day, oh yeah! What you may not know is that I am writing this post on my swanky new tablet, hopefully this means more posts done while stuck on the bus, but more than likely posts done from bed.
My poor nails are taking a break at the moment in an attempt to repair them and my poor hands, I think I might have to change to non acetone polish remover, do any of you lovelies use it? I have a bottle of Max Factor Fantasy Fire longing to swatched and shared, but I’ll leave that to Del so you can see it on her lovely nails. So instead of spamming you with nail polish I thought I would post some reviews of my recent puchases for you. Which scarily enough is a few things eep!
My China Glaze came in the post a few days ago and already I have swatched them all 🙂 The Bohemian Collection is actually my Birthday present from Mr Gabby, isn’t he lovely! I am impressed with this collection and it is one of the few collections that I actually like all of them. I am majorly crushing on duo chromes and chromes at the moment and so this collection really is perfect for me.
So take a look and tell me what you think
Ever since I got into nail polish in a big way I have coveted duo chrome polishes. Del and I go on about it all the time, but buying nail polish can be a real trial in New Zealand. Most of our nail polish collection is from overseas and even trying to find websites that ship to New Zealand can be hard. So Duochromes have always been a little out of reach until I found Beauty Bay.
Beauty Bay is a pretty awesome site, not only do they deliver to NZ BUT FOR FREE!!! *dies* They have so many different brands besides nail polish and for reasonable prices. I would highly recommend checking them out.
Now onto the nail polish!
Good Evening Sweeties!
How was your weekend? Guess what I did? SWATCHING! And the first swatches I’m going to share with you are my A-England “Saint George” and “Dragon”.
LOOK AT THEM! *drools*
(pssst also make sure you click on the images to make them bigger so you can see all the pretty)
How have you all been? I have a new washing machine, I got an A on my last assignment, the book sale is over and I won a bottle of nail polish! *breathes*
So Candy Girl is this awesome nail polish website for New Zealand polish fiends. They sale Essie, OPI, China Glaze and Konad all at amazing prices and they’re in New Zealand so the shipping takes a day A DAY! I spotted they had the OPI Spider Man collection and after approval from Mr Gabby I brought ‘Number One Nemesis’. It was shipped the next day and then was in the letter box the day after that 😮 AND THEN I get this email saying CONGRATULATIONS you won a free bottle of nail polish. *swoons*
Do you know how hard it is to just pick one bottle of nail polish?! But I did it with the help of Mr Gabby. I chose another OPI Spider Man Polish this time ‘Into the Night’.
Good evening groovy darlings!
How has your weekend been? Mine was filled with shopping, nail polish swatching and trying to sort out my broken washing machine. Ho Hum.
On Wednesday when Del came to get me for lunch we went t Smith and Caughey and lo and behold they had a 2 for 1 Essie sale going on. Del brought me ‘Dive Bar’ and her self ‘Smooth Sailing’. The next day I went back and brought myself ‘Smooth Sailing’ and her ‘Demure Vixen’.
I have never really tried Essie before so don’t know much about the brand. I have to admit most of their polishes are kinda boring to me, but when they do colours they do them amazingly well. I do love the quality though and I am now interested in getting some more. Have any of you tried Essie polishes?
So take a look at my swatches of ‘Smooth Sailing’ and ‘Dive Bar’.
