Good Afternoon Sweetie Darlings!
I am home still from work, better today but still feeling slightly run over. Gabby is taking me to Hunger Games (again) tomorrow night and Mama has promise to take me to Dressmart Mall tomorrow if I am better. So I have to bed better, that and being sick makes me feel sorry for myself.
ANYWAY enough moping, I promised swatches and here are some new lipstick swatches for you.
As I mentioned yesterday I brought a lot of Maybelline Color Sensational Lipcolor lipsticks from Postie. Instead of being the regular $26.00NZD each I got them for $10.00NZD each. Maybelline is a brand that I haven’t really tried too much, except for my Dream Lumi Concealer which is perfect. So after my success with my concealer I was interested in trying other Maybelline products, that and for such a reasonable price how could I say no?
Hello my lovely readers!
How has your week? Did you get time off over the long weekend? Did you get chocolate? I got mass amounts of Chocolate thanks to Mr Gabby…and then cause of post Easter chocolate sale I now have a repeat this weekend 😄
Most of my Easter weekend was spent stuck inside the Hunger Games Trilogy. I’ve finished it now and I feel a little lost, do you guys ever get that after reading a good series?
ANYWAY! Anyway… I’m here to share with you my new Australis Pocket Palette. The best thing with this palette is I got it for FREE! Yup, that’s right Free :3 Farmer’s had this awesome sale that if you spent more than $25.00 you got the Pocket Palette free. I picked up a Australis Lipstick and Primer (which I did need), I will review those later for you cause as always I love everything Australis.
Good Evening Lovelies,
Every now and then Orly comes out with a collection that really wows my socks off and compels me to get them all. This time is was their Mineral FX Collection. The two colours I am going to show you today are the first two I got; Emberstone and Rock It. I now have all of them thanks to Farmer’s having a epic 2 for 1 sale on Orly. Auckland has been having horrendous weather so I haven’t swatched them all, but I just couldn’t wait to start sharing them with you. At least sharing them in parts means I get to show off a few more pictures of each colour, and they really do deserve it.
So here is some nail polish porn for you. Enjoy 🙂
Hello my darlings!
How has your weekend been? Mine was full of watching Bones and generally procrastinating about getting my study done. BUT I assure you I did do it and am now ready to start my assignment. While I was procrastinating yesterday I discovered all these photos of things I have yet to post and share with you lovely readers. Some of those photos were of the KleanColor lipsticks I brought last month.
I have tried a few things from the KleanColor collection including a ton of their nail polish, eyeliners and eyeshadow. Most of their products are of good quality, inexpensive and have good staying powder, so I do not find it hard to try something new of theirs. However I was a bit meh I suppose is the word about these lipsticks. Don’t get me wrong the colours are gorgeous (as you will see soon), but the smell and the texture were what let it down. Both lipsticks have a very strong sweet smell that is a lot like cheap soap or perfume and you have to almost drag the lipstick across you lips to get it on, which means your lips feel a bit battered.
I do not think I will be buying any more of the KleanColor Lipsticks, I will try other products of theirs as there will be some more winners out there. I do however really like the colours I got so please take a look and see what you think.
I hope the start of you week has been kind to you. Before I get into swatching and reviewing some of my recent purchases, I thought I would show you a new lipstick of mine that I got only yesterday. I know I only just discovered Lipstick Queen Lipsticks, but now I discovered Chi Chi Viva La Diva Lipsticks -_- *sigh* I think my extreme obsession has switched to lipsticks for a while.
I have used Chi Chi cosmetics before, I have one of their Quad eye shadow palette that Del got me for Christmas 🙂 Sadly Chi Chi does not seem to have a website that is up and working, but hopefully soon it’ll be working.
