Two New Essie Polishes for MaSucree

20 May

Good evening groovy darlings!

How has your weekend been? Mine was filled with shopping, nail polish swatching and trying to sort out my broken washing machine. Ho Hum.

On Wednesday when Del came to get me for lunch we went t Smith and Caughey and lo and behold they had a 2 for 1 Essie sale going on. Del brought me ‘Dive Bar’ and her self ‘Smooth Sailing’. The next day I went back and brought myself ‘Smooth Sailing’ and her ‘Demure Vixen’.

I have never really tried Essie before so don’t know much about the brand. I have to admit most of their polishes are kinda boring to me, but when they do colours they do them amazingly well. I do love the quality though and I am now interested in getting some more. Have any of you tried Essie polishes?

So take a look at my swatches of ‘Smooth Sailing’ and ‘Dive Bar’.

Smooth Sailing:

I love this blue, I have been eyeing up the OPI Holland shimmery blues, but now I have this one I am not so sure I need the others. Essie only needs two coats and its completely opaque and survives a good couple of days at work too.

Dive Bar:

Bluey green dark shimmery nail polish *soon* I’ve been drooling over Diva Bar for ages and it was the last bottle left that goodness Del was lovely and forked out for it ❤

Thanks for looking at my new polishes. Have a good week! I Hope it’s full with polish.

❤ MaSucree

LOVE those! Especially Smooth Sailing – but Dive Bar is gorgeous, too. They look really good on you!

I love both of them, but I think I want to use dive bar as a background for nail art like the ones we saw on the youtube channel – I think I could reduce a picture of the Enterprise to fit on my nail… Dive bar would be a great space background!
