Del Presents: More NYX Girls Polishes and Some Bonus NOTD

2 Jan

So a little while ago I did a post swatching 4 of my 13 NYX Girls polishes… Here’s another 8. The last one (Sea of Cortez) has already been swatched by MaSucree so I didn’t see the need to double up 😛 Excited? I am!! At the end you get my bonus Nails of the Day from New Year’s Eve 😉

Once I’ve finished this post I’m running away to do a bit of decoing ^___^

Ready for some polish porn?!

209 Dorothy, 198 Gilded Glitter, 168 Spot Light

These three glitters have been swatched at two coats of glitter over one coat of plain black polish.

Woohoo!!! Wasn’t that fun? I actually had heaps of fun swatching these, I sat down and put on the first season of Sabrina the Teenage Witch while I played with nail polish. Best way to spend the day when the weather is rubbish! Summer my butt, huh New Zealand? The weather has been pretty rubbish since Christmas actually, that’s a large part of the reason Sir Husband and I had a quiet New Year’s Eve at home with the cat and tv. And on that note, here’s my Nails of the Day from New Year’s Eve!

Kleancolor 43. Dessert and NYX Girls 156. Buzz Worthy

I went for something simple and shiny. In person they looked much more champagne-bubbly, which is what I had been going for. The high-shine NYX shimmers are really hard to photograph though!

I do enjoy having shiny claws :3

Anyway I’m sure you’re all getting sick of nail polish… Aren’t you? Sorry if you are, but I’m kind of in a “too bad, suckers!” mindset at the moment. However, I solemnly swear that my next post won’t be nail polish. Happy?

Love you guys too 😉

I like dorothy and spotlight and shimmer looks like a shade from Orly but I don’t remember the name!

      I adore glitter 😀
I tend to buy cheaper nail polishes because I always need to have heaps – buying expensive ones just doesn’t make sense for me! So I don’t have very many Orly ones to compare, the only ones I have were given to me by MaSucree >_<
However, my interest has been piqued and I'm seeing if I can find the one that is similar to Shimmer!
      Thanks for reading ❤

All very nice (especially the glitters) 🙂
I think my favorite is Indigo Blue, though. Don’t worry, not sick of polish yet! 😀

That’s good, because we just bought a LOT more today! Lots of glitters too 😉
I adore Indigo Blue as well, not only is it a beautiful shade, it also has a gorgeous subtle shimmer to it ❤
